This course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and insights to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally sound fuel operation at the airport.

Participants will appreciate the full scope of the aviation fuel operation at the airport from product receipt through storage to uplift on the aircraft, and the stringent quality control process to ensure on specifications fuel is delivered into the aircraft.  Importantly, participants will be brought up to date with the latest industry standards ( JIG 1 &2 issue 13, September 2021) and recommended practices at the tank farm, hydrant system, and into-plane operations. Course content will also include Health and Safety aspects, environmental impacts, and mitigation involved in such operations. A planned visit to a tank farm will ensure that participants gain practical knowledge of the operation.
